Melanie Jacob is a retired registered dietitian. She is a speaker, author and eating disorder expert and passionate advocate about eating disorders. She is the co-author of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics practice paper Nutrition Intervention in the Treatment of Eating Disorders. Melanie has had membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Academy of Eating Disorders, Functional Medicine and Behavioral Health DPG. She is the past President for Nutrition Entrepreneurs of Michigan, and served on the subcommittee of the DEED subunit of Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN).
